Danjuma Goje, senator wey dey represent Gombe central, say make dem no establish ranches for only states wey get herders.

Goje argue say dem no suppose make laws for only some set of pipo.

“We suppose get mind wey big well-well and no go lock dem for one place. Dat one no go solve di problem,” na wetin im tok.

“Dis pipo na Nigerians and dem no dey benefit from anytin, dem no dey benefit from school, hospitals, or anytin at all.”

As im dey kick against di bill, Kawu Sumaila, senator wey dey represent Kano central, say some tins dey wey dey cause di kasala between farmers and herders wey dem neva address.

As im dey support di bill, Enyinnaya Abaribe, senator wey dey represent Abia south, say farmers for di kontri dey under threat.

“Na dis one dey make Nigeria face food wahala,” Abaribe tok.

Barau Jibrin, deputy senate president, say make dem pause di bill so dat dem go fit tok more on top am, but Zam no gree move motion for dat one.

Di bill come pass afta di Senate President, Godswill Akpabio put am for voice vote.
