Peter Obi wey be Labour Party presidential candidate for 2023 election don yarn say Nigeria na serious crime scene where citizens dey live like IDP people for their own land.
Obi talk this one for Abuja on Tuesday during book launch titled ‘Obi: The Political Change Agent’, wey Ike Abonyi, former This Day newspaper editor write.
Him talk say:
“All of us gats work together scatter this crime scene wey dem call country because e no go better if e continue like this. Nigerians no dey fight war but plenty dey live for IDP camps for inside their own country. Some even run go Chad and Cameroon to survive. And na because we no get government wey send the people.”
Obi yarn say some politicians dey do party while the country dey sink, and if e finally collapse, everybody including the rich or poor go chop the result.
He blame bad government and leaders wey dey use public money for their personal gain while people dey suffer poverty, hunger, insecurity and no get access to better healthcare, schools and good roads.
Obi still talk say na corruption make naira lose value, and fuel subsidy scam suppose don first clear before dem even think of removing am.
Him say until Nigeria clear the network of stolen money and selfish leaders, economy no go balance.
He call on Nigerians to shine eye and support leaders wey get good heart and dey ready sacrifice for better tomorrow.
