Plenty people don reportedly die and many injure as suspected herdsmen attack Mtsewnem for Akondutyough village, North Bank area of Makurdi, Benue State capital.
People wey witness the wahala talk say the attackers enter the community around 3:00 a.m. when everybody dey sleep.
One humanitarian worker and human rights advocate, Ukan Kurugh, describe the matter as “deeply disturbing.”
For him words, he write:
“Around 3:00 a.m. today, I get one heartbreaking distress call with video and picture wey show another suspected herdsmen attack. This one happen for North Bank, just about 40 minutes from Makurdi town. These people no send government or security people again. Dem dey attack anyhow, anytime.”
He still talk say:
“To the wounded and families wey lose their people, our heart dey with una. We no go quiet. We go continue to talk, mourn and demand make government do something sharp sharp.”
