Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) don ready start work to build new head office for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) inside Abuja. Dem go build the new INEC office for Maitama, one of the big people area for Abuja.
Lere Olayinka, wey be senior special assistant on public communications to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, confirm the news. He talk say President Bola Tinubu go officially come flag-off the project next week.
This plan na part of the way wey FCTA wan take celebrate Tinubu second year for office. Dem wan open some new projects wey dem don finish and still start new ones for inside Abuja.
Some of the other big projects wey don happen or wey dey near completion na the renovation of Abuja International Conference Centre, new bus terminals for Kugbo and Mabushi, and major roads like the Apo-Wassa Road and the N16 interchange.
Dem also dey work on roads wey go connect Maitama, Katampe, and Jahi, plus the inner northern expressway from Ring Road 3 go Kubwa road, CN8 road wey dey link N5 (Obafemi Awolowo Way) to Court of Appeal, N20 flyover for Kubwa Road, and Life Camp junction stretch to Ring Road III.
Other roads wey dey inside the plan include Kabusa-Takushara, Kabusa-Ketti, new road for Giri District, and 15-kilometre road from A2 Junction for Abuja-Lokoja Road go Pai for Kwali Area Council, plus roads for Ushafa, War College area, and Bwari Army checkpoint.
